Here's a fresh copy. I don't have much of Burrell's stuff for some reason. If I can't grab some older posts off the group I'll probably grab them off Tidal and post a few. This originated from a lossless audio stream rip from a Tidal music service subscription of mine. The stream was CD quality, according to Tidal service. Rip was done using an Asus Xonar DG sound card. Wave editor was Cool Edit Pro using 48k/floating 32 bit settings. I converted the .wav files down to 24 bit versions using DbPowerAmp and then converted them to flac files. No other alterations were performed, other than what follows. I totally silenced any system noise between tracks with the editor. The track timings will be fairly close to match that of the original release, but they are by no means perfect. Because of the lack of .log and .cue files it probably won't be something a purist wants. But it's plenty good enough for the average listener. Tracks are tagged and I have info in the comments section about the source and .wav gathering, just to keep the digital gene pool organized. If possible I'll try to include some artwork with it. Here's my way of paying it forward after leeching more stuff than I can count from the binaries over the years. Enjoy it if you grab it - mm Here's the Wiki on it: Released 1964 Recorded April 7, 1964 Studio Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey Genre Jazz Length 36:33 Label Prestige PRLP 7315 Producer Ozzie Cadena Allmusic awarded the album 3 stars with the review by Scott Yanow stating, "The music is melodic and boppish, although no real surprises occur. By this time, Burrell was a very respectful player, upholding the tradition rather than offering any real innovations".
